Please note the Parade starts at 12pm from Talbot Road.  In previous years this has been 1pm.  Please help spread the word!

We’re are already well into planning the 2012 Mayor’s Parade and Gala. Check out www.penistonegala.co.uk for updates. All profits raised by the gala go directly back into our local community. This year’s event is themed around the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

Sponsorship and Advertising

We are looking for sponsorship for any part of the event that suits your business, as well as advertisers for our programme. Please email advertsforgala@penistoneroundtable.org.uk if you would like to support us in anyway.  Supporting the gala really helps run a great local community event, manned entirely by volunteers from Penistone Round Table, Penistone Scouts and Penistone Town Council.  All profits raised go back into helping our local community.

Articles

We are also looking for any new articles from any not for profit community organisation, club or charity who want to advertise their activities. Please contact us before the 15th March via advertsforgala@penistoneroundtable.org.uk if you are interested, including a brief article (200-400 words max) and where possible an upto date photo.

Main Arena Event

In 2012 our main arena event will be the 3Sixy bicycle stunt team, impressing the crowds with their amazing display of stunts.

Rock Concert

QEII will be performing in the marquee on Saturday with local support act Area 9.

Proms in the Park

A royal themed musical extravaganza for Saturday afternoon, refreshments from the bar and tea tent will be available.
