The sun looks set to shine on “The Big Weekend” again this year. The forecast for Saturday and Sunday is Sunny Spells 16 degrees C.
Tickets for the “Rock Concert” are selling quickly, buy your tickets early. There are a limited number of tickets available, this event has been a totally “Sold Out” in previous years.

More than a dozen floats will take part in the Mayors Parade on Sunday along with many “Walking Floats” making it the biggest for many years.

As many of you will be aware there is a major re development taking place in Penistone with the construction of the new Tesco Supermarket. The “Good News” is Penistone Mayors’ Parade and Gala will go ahead as normal this year.
